ABOUT ME: My name is Holly, "HJ"...and I live very simply in a cozy (and dusty) little apartment with my two little furry four-legged friends (Chase & Jade), in my wonderful beach town of Daytona Beach, where I've lived most of my life. I did venture off to live in "HotLanta" when I was 29, but I returned home several years later. I'm a true southern girl, although the rest of my entire family is from New England, so I've had the BEST of both worlds!I love the Lord with all of my heart, and I'm so grateful for His Lovingkindness and Mercy on my life! Without a doubt, I have been blessed with the BEST FRIENDS in the entire world, who I treasure (and who I've shared at least a kazillion laughs with) ~ Bunny, Jackie, Lulu, My Big Sis' Joy, JunieBug -In Atlanta, and Marti - (who I lost in this life in 2003). In my friends - I truly am "The Richest Lady In Town!"I have a brother (Rex) and 3 sweet sisters (Joy, Denise, and Iris - pictured here with me) who have BLESSED ME WITH 5 WONDERFUL NIECES & NEPHEWS, WHO I ADORE - Denny, Phillip, Josh, Kimber, and Lil' HJ! :-D (Also, I have alot of extended family - here, in Atlanta & in North Carolina)I LOVE anything to do with the OCEAN, NAUTICAL, UNDER THE SEA, and BEING OUT OVER THE WATER. I rode the original FLIPPER from the TV show, back when I was 10. It was one of the biggest thrills of my life! Through the Wild Dolphin Foundation, I adopted "SILVER" and "RIPCURL!" Okay...so, along with my Bible, I read "Streams In The Desert" - my Daily Devotional, and an occasional Inspirational Book. Also, can I admit I prefer reading books - with pictures? :-) I like the Dictionary - (Words mean ALOT to me), and believe this - I read Recipe Books like they're novels! LOL I also like to read Instructional Art books, Self-Help, and Do-It-Yourself stuff. That's about it. |

Heroes:FIRST AND FOREMOST - My Mama! She was a kind, sweet, shy woman - a real marshmallow. And, she was a wonderful, strong, giving, hard-working provider - who sacrificed her own wants and needs for her children. As time goes by without her, I understand more and more just how blessed I was that she was mine. :..-) To you Mom..MUAH!Also, here are some pretty awesome people, that I look up to tremendously: Jesus Christ, my Savior - of course.
