Victor Crowley was born horribly disfigured, so his daddy kept him hidden away out in the bayou. One Halloween night, some local kids came to the house to try and scare Victor into coming outside so they could get a look at him. They threw fire crackers at the door, and by accident...it caught fire. When Victor's daddy got home, he grabbed himself a hatchet and started chopping at the door to try and save his son. But what he didn't know...was that Victor was pressed up against the other side of that door trying to get out. Mr. Crowley hit him right in the face with that hatchet...and poor Victor Crowley died. The old man became a recluse after that. Never left his house. Never spoke to anyone until the day he passed away. And that's when the stories started... Locals and alligator hunters say that if you get close enough to the old Crowley house late at night...you can still hear Victor Crowley. Roaming in the woods.
