I am a member of VINDICTIV . I also give private lessons, I work as a drumteacher at Folkuniversitetet and Kulturskolan in Stockholm and I do session and studio work. I have a professional studio were I record, mix and produce my own stuff, so if you need drums on your songs do not hesitate to contact me! "I started to play drums when I was ten. I got interested in drums at school and took evening courses. I started to play in bands early and understood by that time that I really wanted to be a professional drummer. I played in pubs, clubs and festivals around Sweden and took private lessons in drumming. When I was 18 I felt that I wanted to study drums abroad and attended to The London Music School. There I studied with Pete Zeldman(Steve Vai), and Thomas Lang who is a clinician. I studied there for 6 months and after that the school went bankruptsy! (Not my fault=) So I went to the U.S. and attended to The Los Angeles Music Academy. That year totally changed my life and my drumming, that was the toughest and most fun year in my whole life! I learned The moellertechnique which is by far the best technique ever! It makes the drums sound like a million dollar:) and it is very ergonomic and uses rebound which makes drumming much easier. At Los Angeles Music Academy I studied with Joe Porcaro(Toto), Ralph Humphrey(Frank Zappa), Mike Shapiro(Sergio Mendes), Mark Schulman(Pink,Cher), Glen Sobel(Cypress Hill), Tony Inzalaco(Buddy Rich), Jerry Steinholtz(Diana Ross), Dave Beyer(Melissa Etheridge, Joan Osborne), Michael Packer(Michael Bolton) and Aaron Serfaty(Dori Caymmi). After graduation from the school I went back to Sweden and started to give private lessons; and I played in several coverbands and did some studiowork. I have collaborated with amongst others Maria "Kylla" Wickman, Anders "Henkan" Henriksson(Magnus Uggla), NaNa Hedin(E-Type, Celin Dion, Britney Spears), Hassan Bah(Kebnekaise), Andre Skaug(Clawfinger), Ted Åström." |
