BIOGRAFIA O Miasthenia surgiu no inicio de 1994, idealizado por Hecate (guitarra/vocal), Vlad (Baixo/vocal) e Mictlantecutli (batera). Em 1995 gravaram a demo-reh "Para o encanto do Sabbat", cujas letras foram entoadas em portugues. Esse trabalho contou com o apoio da Sound Riot prod. na distribuicão. Em 1996 gravaram a demo "Faun - Tragica Musica Noturna" em que acrescentaram o uso de teclados as composicoes. Hecate passou a assumiu os teclados/vocais/contra-baixo e Vlad as guitarras/vocais. Nessa mesma epoca as propostas de shows comecaram a surgir e resolveram convidar Mist para assumir o contra-baixo. Em 1998 a demo "Faun..." foi relancada pela Evil Horde rec. em um Split Cd junto a banda carioca Songe D’Enfer. A partir de 1998, as composicoes partiram basicamente das linhas de teclado e a tematica lirica foi sendo gradativamente inspirada na mitologia pagã sul-americana e nas guerras de conquista do seculo XVI entre cristãos e pagãos na America. Em janeiro de 1999 a banda passou por mudancas na sua formacão, com a saida de Vlad. A partir dai Hecate passou a assumir inteiramente os vocais, junto ao teclado. Para fechar o circulo convidaram Thormianak (ex-Skullcrusher - banda do final da decada de 80 em São Paulo) para as guitarras. De 1999 a 2000 trabalharam na producão de seu primeiro album intitulado "XVI", lancado pela gravadora Somber Music. Em 2004 a banda lanca o album "Batalha Ritual" pela Somber Music, gravado em São Jose do Rio Preto (SP) no AREA 13 estudios com o tecnico Gustavo Vazquez. Neste mesmo ano a banda esteve em uma pequena turne no sudeste e sul do Brasil com as bandas Enthroned (Belgica) e Evil War (Curitiba/Brasil). No inicio de 2005 Mictlantecutli (baterista) deixa a banda. Em dezembro de 2005 inicia-se uma nova jornada com a entrada do novo baterista Hamon (Mythological Cold Towers e Spell Forest). Desde então a banda segue trabalhando nas composicoes de um novo album. Em 2006 a banda retorna aos palcos e realiza alguns shows no sudeste do pais. Em outubro do mesmo ano a banda participa de um dos maiores festivais de Metal no pais o "Brutal Devastation" em BH. Em janeiro de 2007 a banda inicia a pre-producão de um novo album, que deve ser lancado pela Somber Music este ano. Neste momento a banda acaba de concluir o processo de composição e inicia em julho a produção deste novo álbum DISCOGRAFIA: Split Cd Visions of nocturnal tragedies (1998) XVI (2000) Batalha Ritual (2004) Biography The band Miasthenia appeared in begin of 1994, idealized by Hecate (guitar/vocal), Vlad (Bass/vocal) and Mictlantecutli (drums). In 1995 they recorded the demo-reh " Para o encanto do Sabbat", whose letters were intoned in Portuguese. That work counted with the support of Sound Riot prod. in the distribution. In 1996 they recorded the demo "Faun - Trágica Música Noturna" in that increased the use of keyboards the compositions. Hecate recorded the keyboards, the vocal and the bass, and Vlad the guitars and vocal. In that same time the proposals of shows began to appear and they decided to invite Mist to assume the bass. In 1998 the demo " Faun... it was distributed by Evil Horde rec. in a Split Cd with the band Songe D’Enfer. Starting from 1998, the compositions came basically from the keyboard lines and the thematic lyrical it went being inspired in the South American pagan mythology and in the wars of conquest of the century XVI between Christians and pagans in America. In January of 1999 the band went by changes in the formation with the exit of Vlad. Ever since Hecate is vocalist and keyboard player. Then they invited Thormianak (former-Skullcrusher - band of the end of the decade of 80 in São Paulo) to play guitar. From 1999 to 2000 they worked in the production of your first album entitled " XVI " for the Somber Music record. In 2004 the band presents the album " Ritual " it Battles for Somber Music, produced in São José of Rio Preto (SP) in the AREA 13 studios with technician Gustavo Vazquez. On this same year the band was in a small tour in the southeast and south of Brazil with the bands Enthroned (Belgium) and Evil War (Curitiba/Brasil). At the beginning of 2005 Mictlantecutli leaves the band. In December of 2005 it begins a new phase with the entrance of the new baterista Hamon (of the bands Mythological Cold Towers and Spell Forest). Ever since the band follows working in the compositions of a new album. In 2006 the band makes some shows in the southeast of Brazil. In October of the same year the band participates in Belo Horizonte of the Brutal Devastation Festival a great event of Extreme Metal in Brazil. In January of 2007 the band begins the pre-production of a new album, that should be thrown by Somber Music this year. At this time the band concludes the composition process and it begins in July the production of the new album. |
