| This Band ain't a band. When Giovanni De Giorgi shot his first short film OnZeRodd, he also composed what would have become the soundtrack to the film. He recorded the songs in what was then called Loudness studio, with the aid of a friend of his, Simone Meneghello, musician and composer. Giovanni De Giorgi aka Simian sang the tunes, played guitar and bass, while Simone arranged piano , strings, loops and other stuff. The Handgrips Provided has remained since then a one shot project, but its mind and creator Simian is about to add another page to the story. In the meanwhile you can watch "OnZeRodd" in the video section. Nowadays in a little hidden room I'm trying to make some new songs, with my own four hands... but there are different sounds from time to time, and I still don't know how the whole thing is going to be. right now I just enjoy, and hope someone else does too... let me know | |
