| SFMD - Alone In The Middle Live @ 8Tattoo support us! copy and paste this code on your page: BIOGRAPHY – ENG: Ideally Stolen From My Dreams formed at the beginning of 2007, after the meeting between Elia(drums) and Gionny(guitar/back vocals/scream). For a long time the project remain just a dream, because the guys spent months looking for the right people for the band. With the arrival of Dani(guitar), the dream start to became real, from which derive the name. After spending long months finding an affinity, the trio devote itself to the creation of their own songs, covered of influences derived from rock to post-hardcore. During the summer of 2007 Armando(vocals), join the band and SFMD changes their musical attitude, which moved to a sound more similar to melodic metal and screamo. Follows a deadlock, caused by the temporary stay abroad in California of Elia; with his return to Italy and the supply of the experiences lived in the states, SFMD is up for the new ideas and quickly moving towards different musical directions: after long months of search, SFMD finds the ultimate line-up, with Greg(bass) and Sergio(vocals/scream); that means a radical shift to a more aggressive and energetic sound, approachable to metalcore, which reflects much more faithfully the musical influences of the guys. After that last and decisive change, SFMD starts producing the first tracks(which will be part of their first EP, autumn-winter 2008). As we speak, SFMD is getting ready to set foot on stage(all around Italy and Europe), to promote their brand new stuff, since the beginning of may 2008, when the guys will start with the live activity. BIOGRAFIA – ITA: Idealmente gli Stolen From My Dreams nascono agli inizi del 2007, dopo l’incontro tra Elia(batteria) e Gionny(chitarra/seconda voce/scream). Per diversi mesi il progetto rimane solamente un sogno, a causa della difficoltà di completare la formazione. Con l’arrivo di Dani(chitarra), il sogno inizia a materializzarsi, da cui la derivazione del nome. Dopo un lungo periodo speso a trovare un’affinità e una continuità stilistica e di genere musicale, il terzetto si dedica alla creazione di proprie canzoni, cariche di influenze derivanti dal rock e dal post-hardcore. Nell’estate del 2007 si aggiunge Armando(voce) e nel gruppo si attua un cambiamento nel genere musicale, che si sposta verso suoni più affini al metal melodico e allo screamo. Segue un periodo di stallo, dovuto al momentaneo trasferimento di Elia in California; con il rimpatrio e il conseguente apporto delle esperienze vissute negli states, avvengono radicali cambiamenti nel gruppo: dopo svariati mesi di ricerca, gli SFMD completano la formazione con Greg(basso) e Sergio(voce/scream), ciò comporta un deciso spostamento verso sonorità molto più aggressive e incisive, avvicinabili al metalcore, che rispecchia più fedelmente le influenze musicali dei componenti del gruppo. Dopo quest’ultimo e decisivo cambiamento, gli SFMD si dedicano alla creazione di nuovi pezzi(i quali saranno raccolti in un primo EP, di uscita prevista per autunno-inverno 2008), che verranno presentati sui palchi italiani ed europei dagli inizi di maggio, quando i ragazzi inizieranno l’attività live.
