Here's one: Influences: Love is my influence, not Authentic ear to 80's pop. Hour-long remixes. Joy Division into New Order into Depeche Mode into Skinny Puppy. (Tilt. Meanwhile), Mozart into Holst into Mahler into Brahms. Somehow Spaceman 3 and Spiritualized happened to me. Everything leading up to Miles plugging into that wah pedal. Full props to the Ypsi kids, Mad Hatter, and the great Kevin Morris. Particular respects paid to Ryan Dawson, Patrick Elkins, and Ryan Wilson who continually provide me creative space in their projects. A big fan and sometimes player on Actual Birds and Jason Voss projects. Also a fan of Chris "Legs" Pierce's linear sonic aesthetic, Thom Elliot's unexpected sticks, and Andrea Malek's punked-up double reeds. (Rob Mazurek, let's get a taco.)
