jerome, der aus einem idyllischen Ort namens Stipshausen am Fuße des Idarkopfes im Hunsrück stammt, wurde schon früh durch die Plattensammlung seines Vaters auf Vinyl aufmerksam, auch wenn er mit der sich darauf befindenden Musik noch nicht viel anfangen konnte. Durch diverse "HR3 Clubnights" (heute YouFM) wurde sein Musikgeschmack sehr stark vom "Sound Of Frankfurt" geprägt.Die "Nature One" (Kastellaun) 1997 ist ein Schlüsselerlebnis für jerome: Die Begeisterung, die durch Musik entfachbar ist, prägt ihn an diesem Abend so sehr, dass er noch heute davon zehrt und beschliesst, selbst DJ zu werden.
Das erste Equipment ließ nicht lange auf sich warten, und erste Platten wurden sich in den hiesigen Plattenläden besorgt. Die ersten Gehversuche vor ‚Publikum‘ bestritt jerome auf Geburtstagen von Freunden und diversen spontanen, kleinen Events. Schnell war die erste Veranstaltungsreihe geboren: Die "Beatznight", die zunächst im nächstgelegenen Gemeindehaus Anklang fand und dann nach Idar-Oberstein abwanderte. Im dortigen "Juz-Depot" machte sich jerome schnell einen Namen und es folgten Auftritte bei diversen Veranstaltungen, u.a. auf der "Planet of Drums" (Trier), der "Electric Mission" (Simmern/Oberwesel), bei "BPM Controlling" (Bad Kreuznach) und der "Underground Solution" (Kaiserlautern/Kusel), wo er auch heute noch ein regelmässiger Gast ist. Beim Opening der "Palazzo" Veranstaltungsreihe im Idar-Obersteiner "Ypsilon" gestaltete jerome das Warm-Up für Andy Düx.Die "Beatznight" gehört mittlerweile der Vergangenheit an, jerome hat sich neben einem neuen Konzept auch für einen neuen Namen entschieden: "Love It" ist nicht nur der Titel der eigenen Veranstaltungen, jerome nutzt diesen auch für seine seit 2005 laufende Radio-Sendung auf einem der größten Webradio-Anbieter Europas, ShoutedFM (www.shouted.fm). Auf dem Spartensender "mth.Electro" ist er alle zwei Wochen Montags von 20:00 - 23:00 Uhr zu hören, und hat neben Gästen aus der Region auch absolute Top-Acts zu bieten (u.A. Pan-Pot, Ralf Kollmann, nHar [Mobilee-Special], Ingo Boss, Mary Jane).Im Frühjahr 2006 gewann jerome den "minimal2MAXIMAL" DJ-Contest in Trier, was ihm weitere Gigs in der Region versprach. In der Szene-Bar "Emu" in Trier ist er ein ebenso gern gesehener Gast wie bei den "Fever" Veranstaltungen in Idar-Oberstein, wo er sich auch organisatorisch beteiligt.jeromes Sound ist sehr breit gefächert. Von deepem Minimal über TechHouse bis hin zu Techno, nahezu alles kann in seinen Sets vertreten sein. Sein musikalisches Verständnis und seine Geschicklichkeit an den Reglern ermöglichen es ihm, die verschiedenen Stile der elektronischen Musik so zu vermischen, dass nicht nur abwechslungsreiche sondern auch extrem tanzbare Sets garantiert sind: Hypnotisch, druckvoll und verspielt.
Seit April 2007 hat er seine Radio-Sendung auch in den Club verlegt. Einmal im Monat heißt es "Love It" im S38 in Koblenz.biography:

"jerome" was born in the idyllic village Stipshausen at the "Idarkopf",
a mountain of the "Hunsrück" in Germany. His father, who was very found
of music, inspired him, although his kind of music was very different to
the "Sound of Frankfurt" that influenced him later via the "Hr3
Clubnights" (now YouFM).The "Nature One", a techno event in
"Kastellaun", Germany, was crucial experience for "jerome". The
influence music can have excited him and made him want to become a Dj. He
brought his first equipment and startet to perform at friend..s parties and
other small events. The "Beatznight", a kind of techno party at the local
parish rooms was initiated and it was such a success, that it was
performed in "Idar-Oberstein", too. There, at the so-called "JuZ-Depot"
"jerome" became famous so that he worked at the turntables at the
"Planet of Drums" (Trier), the "Electric Mission" (Simmern/Oberwesel),
at the "BPM Controlling" (Bad Kreunznach) and the "Underground Solution
(Kaiserslautern/Kusel) where he still is very active. At the opening
session of the "Palazzo" events at the "Ypsilon" in Idar-Oberstein,
"jerome" did the monthly warm up for Andy Düx.As the "Beatznight"
doesn..t exist anymore "jerome" decided to change is concept and its
name: "Love It" isn..t only the name of the event, but also of his radio
programme on ShoutedFM, one of Europe..s biggest web-radio
(www.shouted.fm). On "mth.Electro" "jerome" can be heard on Mondays from
8pm to 11 pm and at his parties are often well-known Djs such as Pan-Pot,
Ralf Kollman, nHar (Mobilee-Records Special), Ingo Boss und Chris
Tietjen (Cocoon), Gabriel Ananda, Alex Mulpthaupt ( Karmarough Special )
or with Mary Jane (Langspielplattengemeinschaft).In spring 2006
"jerome" won the "minimal2MAXIMAL" Dj Contest in Trier that led to other
gigs in this area. He is freguently Djing in the bar "EMU..s" in Trier
and at the "Fever" Events in Idar-Oberstein and Bad Kreuznach, which he
also organises.The "jerome" sound is a wide selection. From deep minimal to
Techhouse to Techno, everthing can be found in his sets. His
musically-minded understanding and his skilfulness at the turntables
enable him to mix the differnt parties of electronic music so that they
are not only varied but extremly asking to dance: hypnotic, full of
