To get a feel for the atmosphere of the times I research the subject matter with books but mainly through photo's, artists impressions and whatever other visual stuff I can find... Below are some pics of Victorian London given access to me by the Yeoman of The Tower of London… As you can see, these were used in the Jack the Ripper project “STREETS of HELL: A Victorian Odyssey”... As a point of interest, many the soldiers stationed in the barracks at the T.O.L were questioned during the Ripper investigation. FINDING ITS WAY TO THE PRESS, THIS GAVE BIRTH TO THE NAME "JACK THE RIPPER".BELOW: A LOOK INTO THE WORLD OF THE TOWER OF LONDON.
