By cherrysand _______Cherrysand_______________________________________ I Cherrysand nascono sul finire del 2006 dall'incontro tra Valerio, Cosimo, Stefano e Claudio. Sebbene provenienti da progetti musicali molto diversi, i tre hanno istintivamente trovato la via da seguire. Dalle prime canzoni si può notare una particolare attenzione per le melodie, dolci e molto solari, ed una certa predilezione per la chitarra acustica pura e semplice. In cinque mesi si aggiudicano il palco dell'Italia Wave (Kaiser Chiefs, Scissor Sister, Mando Diao...) e soprattutto quello dell'Heineken Jammin' Festival (Aerosmith, Incubus, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam...) sfortunatamente distrutto dalla tromba d’aria. I Cherrysand stanno proseguendo nella stesura dei nuovi pezzi in maniera più varia, alternando la chitarra acustica a distorsioni più aggressive ma con la stessa ricerca nelle melodie.
