Minddust was brought to life last semester 2005, on the ashes of the rock/metal band Pretium Doloris, made up of 3 musicians. After the departure of the former bassist/singer, guitarist Florent Blangero and drummer Lionel Corleoni got Lionel Blangero to join the band as the missing bassist and revival of the band.

The main idea is to be a part of a register that askes for both melody and proper metal power. After a semester of composition, Anthony Agnello (DarkTribe) became the voice of the band, whose name was turned to Minddust. The multiple influences of each members - from symphonic black metal to heavy metal- make Minddust a hybrid band.

In early 2007, the band had 9 songs made up of multiple and changing atmospheres.

As 2008 starts, the line-up changes again to perform the new songs live on the European Tour during september 08 and the recording of the album during october/november 08.

Still searching his new drummer, the band announced the arrival of a new bassist.

Minddust naît durant le dernier trimestre de l’année 2005 sur les cendres du groupe de rock/métal Pretium Doloris, formé alors de trois musiciens. Suite à la défection du bassiste/chanteur d’alors, Florent Blangero (guitare) et Lionel Corleoni (batterie) intégrent – en vue de relancer le groupe – Lionel Fernandez au poste de bassiste.

L'idée de départ est d’évoluer dans un registre dont les impératifs sont la mélodie et la puissance propre au métal. Après un trimestre de composition à trois, Anthony Agnello (DarkTribe) devient la voix de la formation, devenue Minddust. Les multiples influences de chacun – allant selon les musiciens du black métal symphonique au heavy métal – font de Minddust un groupe hybride.

Le répertoire du groupe – à l’aube de l’année 2007 – s’élève à neuf morceaux aux ambiances contrastées et variées.

En ce début d'année 2008, le groupe change une fois de plus son line-up afin d'assurer les nouvelles compos, la tournée européenne (Sept. 08) et l'enregistrement de l'album (Oct/Nov 08).
