| ITALIAN VERSION:C’erano una volta i My sweet Revenge, quattro ragazzi che andavano in giro per l’Abruzzo e il Molise suonando un mix di emorock e crossover. Dopo l’estate del 2006, improvvisamente, due componenti scomparvero in circostanze misteriose. Rimasti soli FaB, il cantante, e KaOs, il batterista, passavano i pomeriggi guardandosi in faccia. Poi, un bel giorno, dall’incontro casuale in un ospedale psichiatrico, dov’erano entrambi ricoverati, KaOs conobbe Pat, un chitarrista fanatico dei Radiohead e della cosiddetta corrente indie rock. Diventati un trio si unirono a Mark, un loro amico di vecchia data. Assolutamente estranei ad ogni tipo di scena, i resuscitati My sweet Revenge camminano per la loro strada, dando una voce alla parola VENDETTA.ENGLISH VERSION: It happens in 2005. FaB and KaOs, I don’t know the whys or the wherefores, met at Pescara in a lazy day, when everything seems to sleep.
Looking back on it, I would to be there, in that moment.
Will. This was the codeword that saw the birth of My Sweet Revenge.
Will to express themselves.
Will to play a personal kind of music.
Will to say that is possible to make something different.
Will to contradict all the commonplaces.
When all the people were sleeping (and I think they’re still sleeping) they begun.
Formed My Sweet Revenge with some friends (give them my regards) they played all around Italy but this story ended after an year.
Then, after a span of pause, they decided to go on. It was time to back on
the street.
Engaged Pat (a man called minstrel from his friends) and an old friend (in the true sense of the word) called Marco, they follow through their idea of music. Always and anyways.
At the beginning of March 2008 they recorded the first EP simply called
"My Sweet Revenge" and, absolutely not involved in every sort of music scene, this raised band still gives voice to the word REVENGE.
