| Buddy was born in Fort Worth, Texas on December 31, 19somethingorother. He attended Fort Worth public schools and graduated from Poly High School. Buddy started playing professionally at the age of sixteen. Like many others he started out playing rock and roll but listened to Jones, Haggard and Frizzell as well. After a few years he turned to playing Country Music exclusively. Some of his favorites and influences are George Jones, Merle Haggard, Charley Pride, Ronnie Milsap, Randy Travis, Johnny Duncan,Bobby Bare, Waylon & Willie and many others. Buddy has performed with many of his "Idols" and appeared on "The Doug Gabriel Show" in Branson, MO. many times. Buddy writes almost everything he records but has included songs by Country Music song writing legend, and close friend, Lawton Williams and others. Buddy was a Police Officer for many years and has been a DJ (morning show host) and radio program director. But the one thing he likes to do most is sing, pick ,write and perform Country Music.
