| ENGLISHI love music.
I was listening to my cousin's piano playing (i was about 11) and thinking: "What are all these waves and good vibes comin' at me?''
From then on I've been trying to find out!I started at the piano at 12 with a C blues scale. Then i studied music on & off, while having a band where i began singing and writing.In '94 i moved to L. A. to attend keyboard classes at Musician's Institute; There i discovered Funk & Soul : what a revolution!
In the meantime i was also going deeper into the Jazz realm...Once back in Italy i started singing again. Actually i was kind of looking for somebody to sing some songs i had written, until somebody (THANK U!!) asked me: "Why don't you sing 'em yourself ??''. I had no answer to it, so i did!And now I love more & more to sing , compose, arrange, play & produce. Anykind of music for lots of different purposes and arts: It just has to be true & real, so that the message and the energy can come across clear.After 6 years with SOULSPINNER, a quartet formed by me, Heggy Vezzano, Marcello Schena and Luca Tonani, which has published two records, now the FOUNDA(c)TION journey has begun.ITALIANOAmo la musica.
Stavo ascoltando mio cugino suonare il piano (avevo circa 11 anni) e pensavo: "Cosa sono tutte queste onde e buone vibrazioni che mi arrivano?"
Da allora sto cercando di scoprirlo!Ho iniziato al piano a 12 anni con una scala blues di Do. Mentre continuavo a studiare musica e' nato il primo gruppo con cui ho cominciato a cantare e a scrivere.Nel '94 mi sono trasferito a Los Angeles per studiare tastiere al Musician's Institute; lì ho scoperto il Funk & il Soul: che rivoluzione!
Nel frattempo esploravo più a fondo il mondo del Jazz...Tornato in Italia ho ricominciato a cantare. A dire il vero ero in cerca di qualcuno che interpretasse alcune canzoni che avevo scritto, finchè qualcun'altro (GRAZIE!!) mi ha chiesto: "Perchè non le canti tu?". Non avendo una risposta valida..l'ho fatto!
Ed ora amo sempre di più cantare, comporre, arrangiare, suonare e produrre; ogni tipo di musica per tanti contesti ed arti diverse: l'importante è che sia vera & reale, cosicchè il messaggio e l'energia arrivino chiaramente.Dopo 6 anni con SOULSPINNER, quartetto formato da me, Heggy Vezzano, Marcello "Bread" Schena e Luca Tonani con cui ho co-prodotto 2 dischi, ora è iniziata l'avventura FOUNDA(c)TION.RECENSIONI DEGLI ULTIMI CONCERTI: Folco Orselli e la sua Milano-Babilonia di Stefano Gianuario - 12.10.2006 This profile was edited by Francia |
