Myspace Layouts - Myspace Editor - Image Hosting Big Deal nace en Barcelona en el 2006, después de una labor de un año que se concentró básicamente en dar forma a temas que Jordi Huguet había creado durante casi una década de viajes y experiencias musicales. Las canciones utilizan la ironía, el humor negro y la sensualidad para expresar el miedo, la alegría y la tristeza de la existencia humana. Inspirándose en el jazz, el blues, el Rythm & Blues y la bossa-nova, cada tema fusiona el rock clásico y el funk en la guitarra de Jonatan Yepes, y el bajo eléctrico de Santiago Arteaga impone el groove que junto a los sonidos electrónicos dan cuerpo a la expresión pop de Big Deal.La versatilidad de la mezcla electrónica y humana de Big Deal le permite realizar shows en directo con formatos que van desde lo muy intimo (trio en formato acústico o Chill Out) hasta espectáculos con banda de hasta 6 personas con coros y percusionistas en escenarios de mayor tamaño.Desde sus inicios Big Deal ha alternado la composición y producción de sus temas con los conciertos en directo. Actualmente Big Deal está finalizando los temas "Sunshiny day" y "Wandering" junto con el videoclip del tema "Sunshiny Day".Big Deal is born in Barcelona in 2006, after a one year labour, mainly concentated in shaping songs that Jordi Huguet had created during almost a decade of travels and musical experiences. These songs utilize irony, black humor and sensuality to express the fear, happiness and sadness of human eistence. Inspired by jazz, blues, R&B and bossanova, every song fuses classic rock and funk in Jonatan yepes.. guitar, and Santiago Arteaga..s electric bass lays down the groove that together with the electronic sound embody Big Deal..s expression.Big Deal..s human and electronic mixture allows them to do live shows with formats that range from the very intimate (acoustic trio or chill out format) to larger sized venue shows, with a six piece band with backing vocalists and percussionists.Ever since the beginning, Big Deal has alternated composition and production with live shows. Currently Big Deal is finishing the songs "Sunshiny day" and "wandering" together with the videoclip of the song "sunshiny day"BiG DEAL IN CONCERT |
