| Megalopsy is Matias Benamo alias z1P and Nicolas Di Bernardo alias Filter, an Argentinian live act dedicated
to the dark and intense side of psychedelic trance. Combining influences from grunge, industrial and nu metal, Megalopsy has a powerful
style easy to recognize in their productions and live performances. After their debut album, The Abstract Machine, released by Trishula Records, they have opened their way in the local and international scene, proving the potential of the Latin American and Argentinian psychedelic trance. They founded Dark Prisma Records , an independant label focused mainly on releasing fresh psychedelic tunes. Around half 2005 Amalgama was printed and we proudly introduced the first and 100%-argentinian-made psy compilation by Dark Prisma and Transition Records. Matia's debut album as Frantic Noise, The Nordland Orchestra released by Dark Prisma Records on July '06 bombed the dancefloors all around Europe and had a very positive reaction in all the psy freaks around the world. Around mid 2006 they started touring around the world and playing their music around Europe and Mexico, sharing the stage with highly recognized artists such as Penta, Kindzadza, Mubali, Arahat, Infected Mushroom, Whicked Hayo, Chromatone, Hydraglyph, Delysid, Tryambaka, Analog Pussy, Perplex, between others. and performing in many crazy places like: Brazil, Mexico, Uruguay, Belgium, Austria, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Czech Republic, etc. Check the whole travel blog @ megalopsy.blogspot.com . In the future z1P and Filter are planning to keep producing as Megalopsy, and also to explore their solo projects, Frantic Noise and Prisma, as well as doing collaborations with local and international artists. They are planning also several releases under the label Dark Prisma, so stay tuned, as this duo has a lot of tricks left.
