| Band: CHARLOU, BILL LAVALLEY, DAVE CARAMBULA, DALE HEIN, DANNY DIAZ AND ERIC RICHTER. The Blue Moon Blues Band is a crowd favorite at many of West Michigan's live venues as well as most of the regional Blues Festivals. The Blue Moon Blues Band is composed of six West Michigan veteran musicians of varied musical backgrounds who have found common ground in the Blues. These musicians have a particular fondness for creating original music influenced by the blues as well as performing for live audiences. Over the last several years, the Blue Moon Blues Band has had the pleasure of opening for and sharing the stage with well-known national acts, including Hubert Sumlin, Lonnie Brooks, Jimmy Johnson, The Chicago Rhythm & Blues Kings, Sapphire, Bernard Allison, Tommy Castro, Larry McRae, Lil Ed, and Son Seals. Spine-tingling harmonies, boundless energy and the musicianship of The Blue Moon Blues Band mix Saturday night’s roadhouse gut bucket blues with soulful harmonies and foot stomping R&B. Rooted in blues, R&B and soul, The Blue Moon Blues Band sound is all their own. Their harmonies are showcased by their ability to perform low-down roadhouse blues, deep soul, R&B and pure pop—all in one set. This joyous, foot-stomping experience is what makes the Blue Moon Blues Band memorable and in demand.As incredible as they are as interpreters, The Blues Moon Blues Band members are equally talented songwriters. The band takes true-life stories, deep feelings, heartbreak and humor to create songs that are personal and moving. Very enjoyable. * Harp is tasteful and well executed. * Musicianship is very good, the grooves are tight and the production is very professional. * I find your approach well done and urbane. * Very confident performance. * I have to say that I'm very impressed by the musicianship in the whole band, including the guest keyboard player. I'm sure I'd enjoy seeing the band live, as everyone plays so well. And, believe me, I'm not easy with complements. | |
