JOHNNY FERREIRA, also known as THE PARTY SHAMAN or sometimes also called in his parallel electronic projects or more radical sessions SHAMAN ONE. Pioneer, promoter and visionary of the dance electronic music and raves parties of Venezuela. Dj, producer, remixer and entrepreneur of the Caracas underground nights. Began professionally at a early age in the city that gave born to him where he..s developing an important part of his very successful career. From its beginning, his appearances and parties became famous, with long sessions of: funk, disco, reggae, ska, hardcore, dark, industrial, electro, new wave, rap, Detroit techno, Chicago house, 100% UNDERGROUND. The parties made in the most amazing locations, abandoned houses and Caracas city clubs. He has been awarded different awards but most important nationwide public renown. In 1986 creates his first electronic project KANKAN (techno). In 1987, still adolescent, develops his first dream the MAZZO club, pioneer location of the Venezuelan electronic music. Is at this moment that he decides to undertake a radical change in his music proposal. From its opening night he begins to undertake a search of the perfect sound and track, long mix sessions of ACID HOUSE, GARAGE. Also produces and promotes multiple and massive ACID HOUSE parties at different locations of the capital city: Mansions placed in the most exclusive , big warehouses, clubs, etc. In the following years he begins to introduce in this sessions various different styles and substyles promotiong and distributimg electronic music throught his company TOXXO records. This substyles has been gotten to know as: Underground, Hard Techno, Ambient, Techno Mental, Deep House, Tribal, Breakbeat, Progressive House, Tech House, Hard House, Minimal House, Electro, Jungle, Drum&Bass, 2Step, Minimal Techno, Trance, Acid Trance, Hard Trance, Goa Trance, Psicodelic Goa Trance, Progressive Trance, Speed Garage, Minimal Trance, etc. His parties ACID HOUSE (1986-87-88-89-90-91) were the preamble to the movement RAVE to the and their beginning (1992-93-94-95-96-97-98-99-00). Parties that were celebrated in huge warehouses in and outside Caracas, in big clubs and large capacity theatres of the capital.

From minimalist TRANCE, ETHERAL, followed by most rhythmic, hypnotic, energetic and intense. Always with his personal eclectic style, in continuous evolution. Achieving always that complicity and interaction in a sort of SINGLE MAGIC COMUNION WITH HIS AUDIENCE.

He has done multiple presentations in the most important clubs and special locations of the capital city, as well as tours and sessions through all Venezuela. His sets have a high demand among Venezuelan private parties, usually hired by brands, clubs or the most eclectic, elites’ and vanguard audience of the city. There have been private and exclusive parties to his acostumed fans and followers belonging to his database (usually around 3000 to 5000 people). Were he plays uninterrupted 16 hours sessions, accomplishing delight and climax among the privileged listeners.

Sessions in clubs outside Venezuela: Club Limelight – Main floor (Avalon club – NY – US) ), Rendevous (Montreal- Canada), Club U.S.A- Salón Gaultier (NY- USA), Reflections (Montreal- Canada), Rock & Lounge (NY- USA), Blue (Montreal- Canada), among other.

He has had the honor of sharing the discplay with international producers and djs such as: Micro (NY- USA), Mark Kamins (NY- USA), Tony G (Miami- NY- USA), Angel (NY- USA), E.O.E (NY-USA), James Christian (USA), MC Romeo Romeo (USA), Miguel Mendoza (Madrid- Spain), Sandro Bianchi (Madrid- Spain), Axel Gross (Germany), among other.

He has been asked by the seals WEA international and Rodven for the selection, mix, recording and publication of his first commercialized entire session, named MIX 1.

He has had the honor of sharing in many occasions the stage and show with bands such as:
Amigos Invisibles, Caramelos de Cianuro, Desorden Publico, among many others.

Besides MAZZO club, he has also been owner, designer and promoter of the Venezuelan electronic music temples: TUNNEL PRIVATE CLUB (1994- 95), SOUND FACTORY (1996).

Advices and presents on TV 9 micros on electronic music under the production of the writer and journalist Manon Kubler for the Venezuelan broadcast television – VTV (nationwide – 1995).

Produces part of the music for the theatre play DE MELOCOTON AL ROJO ALUCINANTE, by Roberto Rodríguez, which was awarded the international Emilio Carballido award (Mexico-1995). Played in Venezuela by the Fundación Rajatabla (1995).

Produces and works at the successful radio show AREA 51, dedicated to the promotion of the latest electronic and experimental music and to the Venezuelan underground night, broadcasted nationwide through la MEGA 107.3FM (1999-00).

As of today (2008) he has produced, promoted more than 422 parties, concerts, festivals and electronic events, whether midsize to big events, being THE image and main talent with the participation of Venezuelan and international dj..s, band, electronic projects, etc… Also in many occasions he has been solicited to advice producers for the making of macro events and mega electronic parties nationwide.
