| Coming straight from North of France, born in this grey and sad land,MORPAIN is a brutal hardcore band, born in 2001. After a 3 tracks Demo(2004), a 5 tracks MCD Call To Fight (2005) and The Conspiracy Split (2007)with Coverhate (Be) and Lowlife (De) on Southside Records, we are currentlycomposing some new songs for our first album for 2008 .During these years, we made about 100 shows inFrance, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Luxemburg, Spain and we shared stagewith Resistance, Maroon, Sentence, Burning Skies, 25 Ta Life, Born FromPain, As We Fight, Do Or Die, The Setup, Arkangel, Dagoba, JN, Deadsoil,Liar, Die My Demon, Settle The Score, Surge Of Fury, ToKill, In Blood WeTrust, Nasty, Enemy Ground, The Arrs, l’Esprit du clan, Disturb .... //////////////////////Venu droit du Nord de la France, apparu sur cette terre grise et triste en 2001, MORPAIN pratique un metal hc teinté des influences diverses des musiciens qui composent le groupe: leur objectif est de repousser toujours plus loin les limites de la brutalité et de délivrer la plus grande énergie possible sur scène, grâce a une base rythmique ultra énergique sur laquelle viennent se greffer des riffs de guitare tranchants et oppressants ainsi qu'une basse massive, le tout valorisé par deux chanteurs à la voix tantôt gutturale, tantôt criarde. Le mélange ainsi produit est un cocktail explosif d'efficacité, de technicité rythmique et de rapidité, taillé pour le pit.....
MORPAIN enregistre une première démo 3 titres éponyme sortie en 2004, un MCD "Call to fight" sorti en 2005 et un split CD "The Conspiracy Split" avec Coverhate (Be) et Lowlife (De) sorti en 2007.
Depuis 2001, le groupe a accumulé un bon nombre de concerts (plus de 100) joués dans une une bonne partie de la France et en Europe : Belgique, Allemagne, Luxembourg, Pays-Bas, Espagne; en partageant la scène avec des groupes tels que Maroon, Born From Pain, Do Or Die, 25 Ta Life, Arkangel, Burning Skies, Settle The Score, Resistance, Nasty, Sentence, As We Fight, Dagoba, Pitbulls In The Nursery, Surge Of Fury, The Arrs, Disturb, l'Esprit Du Clan ....... Aujourd'hui MORPAIN compose les derniers titres de leur premier album "These Dark Days" qui sortira chez Customcore Records courant 2008. Maintenent MORPAIN est plus que jamais motivé à continuer d'avancer et à jouer dans des ambiances de folie avec toujours un esprit de fête !
