And that's why Grunge always has, and always will...SUCK! Bob Brunson Bob Brunson was born in 1967 in Sopranos country, Elizabeth, NJ. He heard the opening riff in "25 or 6 To 4" by Chicago on the radio when he was five and that was it! He grabbed the closest tennis racket, proceeded to rock out in front of the mirror, and from that point on his feet were on the path!Bob's family moved to Kansas City in 1976, where he was first introduced to the arena gods of the 70's & 80's. Groups like Journey, Aerosmith, Judas Priest, Van Halen and Motley Crue had a profound affect on Bob, but none hit home as much KISS. From Ace Frehley's smoking guitars to Paul Stanley's soaring vocals, Bob knew what he wanted to do.He locked himself in his room and taught himself to sing and play guitar by listening to KISS records. Bob started his first band, Pegasus, and they quickly became the talk of the town, then the region. They hit the ground running, winning contests, scoring local airplay, and getting the attention of local media and record producers. Unfortunately Bob's dad got transferred out of state.Unwilling to gamble his future, Bob took the safe route and went along. Eighteen years later, he's settled with his family in Orange County and has a successful career in marketing. However the dream never died and he continued playing, singing and writing songs over the years, waiting for the right time to ressurrect his dream. After a decade of hearing the same tired sounding bands, Bob decided to get off the sidelines. He's a true renaissance man who believes we only get one chance in life to DREAM BIG and LIVE LARGE!Bob's been married for 12 years and has 3 wonderful children. He's written/recorded many songs, several books, scripted & pitched several TV shows, radio/tv commercials, appearing in several, and just appeared on A&E's Gene Simmons Family Jewels. He works at a division of Clear Channel Radio in Orange County, and owns his own copywriting/ communications firm with his wife. In addition, he is the public relations director & event planning co-chair of for a wonderful charity that helps adults with special needs. Bottom line... he will not STOP until he reaches the TOP!
