| Used to tend an orchard of chili-cheese fry trees, before "going internet" which meant selling all her possessions and extraneous organs to buy sweet outfits for her Zwinky and an awesome crib in Second Life. Music:Mostly, I only listen to music on other people's MySpace pages. In the car, I use the "radio," which transmits music through the "airwaves." It just works. It doesn't need my attention all the time, just keeps doing what it's doing! It's not high-maintenance. I don't have to keep selecting songs I already know, keeping my overall scope of knowledge narrow. |

Movies:I'm writing a dissertation on the "Pirates of the Carribean" trilogy. I only wish I could have Bruno Bettleheim as my PhD advisor. Just don't tell me you never saw Bladerunner or Brazil, diaper-boy. I've seen movies. |

Television:My favorite show, after House and Bones, is the Red Green Show, it's Canadian, and probably 100 years old. .. I am currently fascinated by male friendships. I like men, very much, but they are not like me. I'm really bad at watching TV. If there was a "Television for Dummies" book it would be for me. Yeah, I need to read a book to learn to watch TV. The thing is, you have to keep sitting there to get the job done. I usually say, "You kids keep it up, and I'll check on you later." Sometimes I see a show I like, and I think maybe next week, this same time, I'll watch it again. Then I forget all about it. The people on TV never seem to hear MY comments; I hate that they act like I'm not there! One thing I hate: when you're watching a DVD with someone, and you leave the room, and that person pauses the DVD so when you come back, the show hasn't advanced one bit. Okay, I have to admit: I used to blame TV for ruining my family, but it was really my parents hiding behind TV. |
