Cocktail métissé, condensé de Méditerranée, DAR FRENCH GNAWA réunit cinq musiciens d’origine maghrébine, languedocienne et provençale autour du chanteur algérien ABDOU BEKHECHI. A.D.F.G. propose un répertoire musical original empreint à la fois de tradition spirituelle -celle des Gnawas auxquels ils empruntent leur nom et leur influence musicale principale-, d’une volonté de rencontre des cultures -le groupe définit sa musique comme une « fusion trans-méditerranéenne » et revendique la force des mélanges “ethniques”-, du désir de partager avec le public la joie de jouer et la nécessité de vivre ensemble.
