Film director. 1973 Benjamin was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, January 1st 1983 Began still photography 1993 First documentary. 1999 First fictional film. Benjamin Holmsteen began taking photos at the age of ten, and at twenty began working in TV as a director and cinematographer, working for numerous film production companies. Benjamin is a self-taught film director. Winner of the Danish Film Academy Award.
