Myspace Layouts by Pimp-My-Profile.com LystensTone is singing, drumming and dancing with beats - electronic folk. LystensTone means pleasure's tone. The music is a unique blend of the natural force of the voice and the drums, and the electronic universe. Vibe’s melodies and singing style are marked by a love for folk music. The Nordic tone shines through, but also the Celtic, the Indian and the Tibetan. The texts are particularly about insights and going over borders, transformation and development. That one can transform one’s life if one dares. Vibe plays several different drums. In particular she uses her striking drum with seal hide that she also dances the whirling dance with. The seal drum can be heard as the leading sound in Fire’s Song. Another special drum is the big, deep hand-made drum that can be heard in Thunder Song. It is made of an old sawed-off fuel tank with cow hide on the one side and bull hide on the other side. See who has built these drums under links. Niels Ulbrandt plays the electronic part of LystensTone. His beats build up during the whirling dance, and the electronic sound is an interplay between the vigorous and the sensually stimulating.
