About Me |

| Mr McFall's Chamber came into being in the mid nineties. It is an ensemble based in Scotland. We play classical, rock, jazz collaborations, cartoon music, tango etc etc etc. Line-up is generally string quaret, bass, piano and drums/percussion. We usually play amplified. We've also worked with a number of singers - including Taylor Wilson, Valentina Montoya-Martinez and Michael Marra (just two songs, but we're hoping to do more). The band has recently started to create a repertoire around the music of Martyn Bennett - this along with percussionists James Mackintosh, Tom Bancroft and piper/whistle player Fraser Fifield. | |

Sounds Like: very difficult to describe - because we do so many different things - but I would like to think of ourselves in the same category as "new classical" bands like the Absolut Ensemble.
