Nikki were not stories dated from daily life. Nikki were poetries, thoughts, intimate thinking of a woman about a life; a life seen through a screen, the mirror of the mysterious feminine world. Diaries were examined after years and extended by the writer with an external and invocative point of view. “Sakura” in Japanese language stands for the cherry flower. Cherry flower, in Japanese philosophy, represents beauty and fragility; in literature becomes synonym of life, considering at the same time its beauty and caducity. Life: from nature to human being, as a creature and its fellow too. Life as Love, Sorrow, Joy, Sadness, Regret, Evanescent, Material, Beauty, Horror, Belief, Faithless. Everything lived in an infinitesimal second! “Sakura no nikki” is a diary about life. “…a secret horizon where music starts to play…” (Stand). Songs inspired by rhymes written on a personal organizer; emotions told by a voice whose face is made by all figures, where the Ego comes to a life-form… A place where seconds are invocated to live forever, a sound fading in the wind… Sakura no nikki (Diario del fior di ciliegio):In Giappone nel periodo Heian le dame diedero vita ad un nuovo genere letterario: i “nikki” (diari). I nikki non constavano di narrazioni di episodi giornalieri, erano delle riflessioni, poesie, annotazioni e cronache introspettive di una vita vista da un paravento, lo specchio del misterioso mondo che avvolgeva l’emisfero femminile. Questi taccuini venivano riesaminati a distanza di tempo ed estesi dal protagonista con un atteggiamento rievocativo e, conseguentemente,da un punto di vista più esterno, oggettivo, nonché onnisciente. L’accezione del termine “sakura” è fior di ciliegio. Il fior di ciliegio nell’estetica giapponese rappresenta la bellezza e la fragilità: in letteratura è quindi sinonimo di vita, vista nella sua bellezza, ma allo stesso tempo nella sua caducità. Vita: dalla natura all’uomo, come suo frutto e suo simile. Vita come amore, dolore, gioia, tristezza, rimorso, etereo, terreno, bellezza, mostruosità, fede, effimero: tutto in un attimo infinitesimale ma ETERNO! “Sakura no nikki” è un diario di vita, ”un orizzonte segreto dove la musica inizia a suonare…”(Stand).
