| Clocks sind Zwei und kommen aus Fürth. Klingen aber wie Zehn, von wo ganz anders. Dem Ganzen musikalischen Tohuwabohu, liegt wohl irgendwie ein Hip Hop-Entwurf der alten Schule zugrunde. Samples bilden also die Basis. Okay. Aber alle Samples, seien es Gitarren, Bässe, Violinen oder Kaffeemaschinen, sind nicht etwa von alten Soul- oder Jazzplatten geschnitten, sondern eigens eingespielt. Mit einigen Effekten gewürzt werden sie anschließend dem Sampler verfüttert. Dazu verschmelzen elektronische Beats mal mit stimmungsvollem, mal brachialem Live-Schlagzeug, das entweder im Kontrast zur im Song erzeugten Stimmung steht oder sie verstärkt. Sequencer-Monotonie wird durch den Einsatz von Live-Instrumenten durchbrochen, Songstrukturen auf den Kopf gestellt, geschüttelt und dann wieder zusammengebaut. Die Texte geben Auszüge aus dem Tagebuch eines mehr oder weniger fiktiven Verrückten wieder und werden geflüstert, geschrieen oder gesungen und manchmal auch alles gleichzeitig.
