I'd like to meet:Un buen Dry Martini debe parecerse a la concepción de la virgen, tal como el espíritu santo paso a través del himen de la virgen, es como un rayo de sol debe atravesar una botella de Noilly Prat. El hielo debe ser muy duro para que no suelte agua (nada peor que un dry mojado). Esta es una formula personal, fruto de una larga experiencia con la que obtengo un éxito bastante halagüeño. 1º<<- Pongo en la nevera todo lo necesario, copas, ginebra y coctelera la víspera del día en que espero invitados. Utilizo un termómetro que me permite comprobar que el hielo esta a unos 20 grados bajo cero. Al día siguiente saco todo lo que necesito. 2º<<- Sobre el hielo bien duro hecho unas gotas de "Noilly Prat" y media cucharada de café, de angostura. Agito bien y tiro el liquido conservando únicamente el hielo levemente perfumado x los dos ingredientes. 3º<<- Sobre ese hielo vierto la ginebra pura, agito y sirvo. Eso es todo y el resultado es insuperable. |
