| Hi, my name is Gaby and I'm a saxophoneplayer. Born in Hannover/Germany, I spent some years in Amsterdam/NL and recently moved to France. In Germany I got my Band "Gaby Schenke's 2nd Edit" and a duo - "Take 2" - with my good friend pianoplayer Béatrice Kahl. Recently "Take 2" is working on a new CD. In France I hooked up a new Quartet to play my compositions. I'm working in a Duo with my good friend bassplayer Anne Mahey and as well in a Duo with pianiste Sandrine Marchetti. And of course I'm doing all those things we all do: playing all kinds of music to eat and have a home... Hopefully I'll find enough time to let you hear some of my new compositions soon!
