Here's some information that may become useful if you're trying to find out some dishy details about this band called "The Eric St-Cyr Band". Mr. Eric St-Cyr has been doing the whole 'band thing' since the beginning of high school. (arguably before that, depending on what classifies as a band). He has played a wide range of instruments for various bands, including twelve34, TCFTROS, Bluestone, The Shells, Soul Harvest, and Ignition to name a few. Originally starting off with bad covers of Jimi Hendrix, Santana, Smashing Pumpkins and Foo Fighters, and a collection of poorly written, angst-driven, mid-nineties ballads, Eric St-Cyr started off his career playing at the local coffee houses and drunken bush parties that his friends threw. The Eric St-Cyr Band, in it's current state, is put together by an all-star cast of Orleans Ontario's finest musicians. Eric is joined by Hitsman (Noble Insight, Scheme, To Kill Christine), Ryan Cahill (Polk and the Dots, Haerisis) and BJ King (Fuse, Ink-Red). For lack of a better band name, Eric took the burden and the responsibility of the noise they made and called it 'The Eric St-Cyr Band'. |
