HotFreeLayoutsI am a woman in recovery that calls Narcotics Anonymous her home. Yes, I have an N.A. sponsor, a higher power, a home group, attend meetings regularly, am involved in service work, and work steps. I am 47 years old, have three awesome kids, ages 25, 23,and 20. I have a great family that I don't see as often as I would like to because we are scattered around, and I have many friends in recovery who love me and are supportive of me. I live in Illinois, near Gurnee, and even though Six Flags Great America is very close, I have only been there a handful of times...I prefer motorcycles to roller coasters. |

I'd like to meet:I created a my space profile to meet other people in recovery. My two daughters keep telling me that I need to meet new people, yet I have basically just kept to my small circle of friends for awhile. I would like to meet people in recovery, and make connections with people who are living and enjoying life without the use of drugs (yes,alcohol is a drug...period) and who are working a program of recovery to the best of their ability. People who have a positive outlook on life, people that can really be who they are.. People that can share their experience, strength, and hope with others, and that have found a new way of life. .. |
