| When Brian Duffy sings he rips, roars, and rends the air with his voice summoning the primitive passions buried deep in the brain of evolutionary man. And that's what a rock and roll singer should do. Rob Fusari (hit producer for Destiny's Child, Beyonce , Jessica Simpson, and Whitney Houston) heard Brian Duffy's music and realized he was the real deal. The savior of rock and roll had returned. The two teamed up to create "Save the World," an anthem fit for superheroes. During a Recording session at Jon Bonjovi’s Estate ,Brian Was introduced to Jon and his reaction was wow! amazing vocal. One of the better shows Brian has performed at was opening up for the legendary group FOGHAT in front of 5000 people. Brian has suffered the loss of both parents. What sets Brian Duffy apart from countless rock bands is Brian Duffy's unabashedly earnest energy. He sings without pretense, over-the-top theatrics, or absurdity. When the songs begin, there's no doubt in one's mind that Brian comes to rock. And people respond to just that--the energy, the voice, and the music. American ears have become accustomed to hip hop, classical crossover, bubble-gum pop, but with Brian no one can deny the power of rock and roll. From the catchy guitar progressions and layered vocals to in the pocket grooves HoneySmash puts a new spin on old musicality. Brian Duffys raspy, melodic vocals make it evident that this is a group of talented musicians that should be watched closely. A gift to the ears, this band seems to be an odd combination of U2 and The Stones all mashed into one, combining hard driving rock hits with mind-blowing power ballads. There are few bands these days that can write the hits as well as perform them, the world needs more bands like HoneySmash. "Tomorrow comes" is a truly a hit, and there is no doubt that it, along with the bands other great repertoire of songs will bolster them to the top. Look for this band in a big venue near you, for they are most definitely rising stars. .. |
