About Me |

| Musician, producer, sound engineer and composer. His name comes up whenever speaking about music from the Canary Islands, more specifically in Tenerife, beautiful land where he was born. After living for several years and several times in the spanish mainland, he has travelled the clubs and jazz festivals scene in the nineties with groups like Madera, Decoy Quintet, Big band del Foro and the rock circuits with singers such as Luz Casal. Miguel Ríos and Joaquín Sabina.In the Canary Islands he has worked with an endless number of groups such as Cebolla Jazz band, Borondón, Ceda el Paso, Mbalax, Midi Doméstico, Baba Djembe, etc…with musicians like Polo Orti, Raul Capote, David QUevedo, Cristobal Montesdeoca, Dimas Machado, Luismo Valladares, Idafe Perez, Martin Leiton, etc...
On the national scene with Francis Posé, Roper, Chano Dominguez, Javier Colina, Perico Sanbeat, Jorge Pardo, Iñaki Salvador, Ruben Dantas, Ove Larsen, Antonio Garcia de Diego, Angel Crespo, Mathew Simon, etc...
On the International scene he has played with musicians like Bill Evans & his band (Tom Coster, Ron Jenkins, Rocky Bryant, Jon Herrington) Jim Beard, Anthony Jackson, Eric Marienthal, Til Bronner, Kevin Mahogany, Dave Santoro, Jim Odgren, Gary Versace, Torsten de Winkel, Audun Waage, Josh Dion, etc…
He has learned harmony, improvisation and composition from masters like Luis Vecchio, Bill Evans, Eric Marienthal, Dave Schnitter, Aaron Heick, and classical with Maximiano Vera.
.He has produced for artists like JC Machado, Chiqui P., Esther Ovejero, Taburiente and he has recorded around one hundred records as a sideman.
He has brought to light three cds under his name: Kike Perdomo and Transition both with Latidos Music and “Y Ahora qué” with Insula Records.
His current projects are: Kike Perdomo Qt, Collective, Union, Big Band AM, Esther Ovejero and Taburiente. With all of them he is preparing new works.
He is at the moment the President of the Musicians Asociation AM (www.archimusico.com) and he is part of the General Council of the AIE whose headquarters are in Madrid.
