| ESN project is an instrumental side project for Elias Njeim, which will represent his own visions and ideas. The idea of it was to take the listener to a higher level of perception and open his eyes on new experimental conceptions, & mixture of many styles. Biography: Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Elias Njeim started playing guitar at the age of 14, He experienced different styles of music: Thrash, Speed, Neoclassical, progressive metal and jazz rock... + Elias joined several Lebanese local bands and participated in Tooooooo many side projects as sessionist player. - He formed his first band "Armageddon" in 1993 and he is currently working on an album after a long break. - He also joined "Shepherd of Sheol" as a session guitarist and released an album in 2001. - In 2006, the idea of ESN Project became a reality, & the work of the debut album still going on. - In 2006 also, he was choosen to be the official endorser of Parker, Washburn guitars & Randall amplifiers for the middle east. - In 2007, he record with Weeping Willow their 3rd album. + Elias is mainly influenced by: - Bands like: Nevermore,Symphony X, Iced Earth, Queensryche, Testament, Death, ,Andromeda, Power of Omens, Megadeth, Adagio, Dream Theater, Shadow Gallery, Porucupine Tree,Spiral Architect, Cynic, etc... - & Guitar virtuosos like: Greg Howe, Marty Friedman, Frank Gambale, Allan Holdsworth, Joey Tafolla, Stephan Forte, Vinnie Moore, Scott Henderson, James Murphy, Al Di Meola, Joe Satriani, Patrick Rondat, Steve Vai, Jason Becker, Michael Angelo,Ron Jarzombek,Alex Skolnik,Shaun Baxter, John Mc Laughlin,and more. - Not to forget his classical music influence: Bach,Beethoven,Lizt,Rachmaninof,Prokofiev,Mozart etc... + Elias would like to thank: - God - My lovely family & specially my mom for supporting me in what i beleive! - My sweet little princess "Amy". - All my students and sorry for not naming you name by name, but you're one hell of an army. - My best friends:Dany Fares(Dabdoub) , George Melhem(best guitar technician ever) & musician too, Aref Mashaka(Voodoo man), Mano Bekarian "Sound Engineer"(khod nafass le!!Lucyyy!), Sami Gabriel(voice from Heaven)....sorry if i forgot somebody! - Bands:The Armageddon Family from the beginning(Edouard S., Dave E., Guy K, Aref M., Raja N., Mano B., Sami G.) miss all the old days together! Shepherd of Sheol(Alain, Raja, Nicolas, Dory), Weeping Willow(Garo, Junior, Marco, Jinno). - My Webmaster for the great work & his time too,(go have some sleep man!!). - A special thanks to a special friend, Ralph Yung one of the best guitarists i have ever known. - All my friends and all who helped me all over these years from the beginning, you know who you are...thank you!! - And finally my fans, thank you all, cause i wouldn't do all of this & continue without your support!! |
