Texx and Luchi, natives of the MileHigh are from a new era and a new lineage of lyricists/poets/artists. Their life experiences became inspiration for the lyrics that would be written in a notebook. Whatever wasn’t written became the freestyle that flowed from their mouths like the clouds of smoke from the chocolate-flavored blunt. The words precise by definition and timing made any beat too hard to ignore. Before long, small audiences were hypnotized and captivated ready to hear more. In April of 2006 Lucci and Texx made their internet debut with Run Away, a song that would set the tone for the music that they choose to be known for: living reality and holding it down despite any opposing circumstances. Now the Marksmen perform live at local venues and their fan base continues to expand. Day in, day out they’re up in the lab, concocting, collaborating and creating with their minds focused on a target: to do quality music that everyone can relate to, no matter where you come from.
