BIOGRAPHY I was born in 1967 in Terrassa (Barcelona). From a very young age I started in the radio world. It was something instinctive, having always liked the world of communication, and ultimately a factor that would greatly highlight my professional career, including my alias: Félix Jr. I have worked as a Radio DJ on the major national radio stations: Cadena 40 Principales Ibiza, Cadena 40 Principales Barcelona and Cadena 100 Barcelona-Ibiza. My daily work as a Radio DJ helped me to confront the great challenge of the night scene, sharing sets with the most renowned national and international DJ’s. Given that I love vocal house, House Music characterises every one of my sets. However, I am not less partial with tribal and electronic rhythms and am open both in mind and soul to all of its versions. Dedicated more than ever to Club Culture, immersed in two new experiences as DJ and Radio DJ and preparing new record projects that will be launched soon. The already available Disco Heaven by Felix Jr., could mark a before and after in my professional career as well as the radio JR ‘OOM on Ibiza Global Radio (97.6 FM www.ibizaglobalradio.com).For years I’ve been a regular resident DJ in Jamboree (Tarantos), a pioneer club in Barcelona for Funk, Soul, Hip-Hop and R&B. There I recapture all-time classics of Soul and Funk, with touches of more modern rhythms in special freestyle sessions. After leaving the radio scene for a few years, but not the Club music scene, I have returned to the waves, to what is at present the best radio station for electronic music (in all its styles), Ibiza Global Radio. You can listen to me every Sunday afternoon (17.00-18.00 hours) on 97.6 FM (Ibiza) or through the internet www.ibizaglobalradio.com on the JR ‘OOM program, where in 60 minutes I try to create all the essence of House Music in all its aspects and styles. Tune in don’t miss out. BIOGRAFIA Naci en 1967 en Terrassa(Barcelona) . Desde muy joven me inicie en el mundo de la radio, algo innato en mi, siempre me gusto el mundo de la comunicacion, faceta que marcaria profundamente mi vida profesional, inclusive mi nombre de guerra, Félix Jr. He trabajado como Radio Deejay en las emisoras de radio mas importantes del pais, Cadena 40 Principales Ibiza, Cadena 40 Principales Barcelona y Cadena 100 Barcelona-Ibiza. Mi trabajo diario como Radio Deejay me sirvio en aquellos momentos, finales de los ochenta, para afrontar el gran reto de la noche y compartir sets con los Dj's mas reconocidos tanto nacional como internacionalmente (motivo que me llena de orgullo, siempre hay algo que aprender). El House Music marca cada uno de mis sets ,enamorado del House vocal pero no por ello menos contundente con ritmos tribales y electronicos y abierto en mente y alma a todas sus derivaciones. Volcado mas que nunca en la Cultura de Club, preparando nuevos proyectos discograficos que veran la luz muy pronto e inmerso en dos nuevas experiencias como Deejay y Radio Deejay, DISCO HEAVEN BY FELIX JR, realidad ya, que puede marcar un antes y un despues en mi trayectoria profesional y el programa session de radio JR'OOM en Ibiza Global Radio (97.6 FM www.ibizaglobalradio.com). Hace ya años que soy uno de los residentes habituales de la sala JAMBOREE (Tarantos), la sala pionera en Barcelona en sonidos Funk, soul, Hip Hop y R&B, en sesiones muy especiales de freestyle donde recupero clasicos de toda la vida del soul y funk, con pinceladas de ritmos mas actuales. Despues de unos cuantos años retirado de la escena radiofónica he vuelto a las ondas, la que es actualmente con diferencia la mejor emisora de musica electronica (en todos sus estilos), Ibiza Global Radio . Todos los domingos por la tarde (17.00-18.00 horas) puedes escucharme en el 97.6 de la Fm (Ibiza) o a traves de internet WWW.IBIZAGLOBALRADIO.COM en el programa JR'OOM, donde en 60 minutos intento plasmar toda la esencia del House Music en todas sus vertientes y estilos.
