Arlene Kole’s story is a common one. Mass media perpetuates the idea that at 46 years old, her best years are behind her. Ironically, as Arlene watches the last of her 3 children turn 18, she enters a phase of life where she must redefine herself. A daunting task while questioning one’s own value and self worth. It is however, the time that many women discover their inner strength and some accomplish extraordinary goals. Her challenges are every woman’s challenges and she sends a powerful and inspirational message to them. She now dares to embark on a quest to accomplish what few women ever have; to establish the successful music career she left behind 25 years ago….the music career she so desperately wanted was shelved for a quarter century while she married and raised a family. I consider my voice my first instrument and I have been studying it my entire life. I have a great pool of incredible musicians/friends I perform with. Unfortunately here in California it is difficult to find places to play that pay the artist...especially an acoustic original act! Musicians need to eat and so it's tough to find gigs that I can bring them along. Sometimes, my husband, Bill Kole who is also my producer, performs with me and so does my daughter Skyeler Kole (I don't have to pay them). .. You Are Fozzie Bear "Wocka! Wocka!" You're the life of the party, and you love making people crack up. If only your routine didn't always bomb! You may find more groans than laughs, but always keep the jokes coming.
