| Gli Hiroshima Mon Amour nascono nel novembre del 1994 dall’idea di creare una nuova entità musicale nell’ambito del rock alternativo italiano, con una particolare attenzione all’esperienza post-punk dei primi anni ’80. Il gruppo esordisce dal vivo nell’estate del 1995 con una formazione a tre ed un suono gelido dominato dal basso e dai synth. Nel 1999, dopo due demo-tapes, un mini-cd e diversi cambi di formazione, la band giunge al traguardo del primo album, Anno Zero, contenente otto brani dalle coordinate rock/new-wave. La buona accoglienza da parte della critica musicale ha permesso loro di essere conosciuti ed apprezzati da molti appassionati di musica underground. Nel novembre del 2000 esce il secondo album dal titolo Dedicata, dieci canzoni che abbandonano certe ruvidità del primo disco a favore di sonorità liquide ed elettroniche. Il terremoto che segue l’uscita dell’album ridefinisce gli equilibri interni al gruppo con un cambio di formazione che fornisce una nuova identità agli Hiroshima Mon Amour: Carlo, Massimo, Domenico e Livio, danno seguito ad un progetto che continua ad ottenere la stima e i consensi di un pubblico affezionato sempre più vasto. Cambio 1995/2001, terzo album pubblicato nel novembre del 2004, festeggia il decennale raccogliendo brani inediti e rarità , puntualizza e chiude il primo importante capitolo della storia del gruppo.I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V4.4 | |
