| I've been a writer of some kind my entire life. Over the last few years I've turned it more towards music, which has been so important to me from the beginning. It has been amazing to watch that spark continue on with my girls and I couldn't be happier that they've chosen to make music a meaningful part of their lives. My love for music started in high school with the choir and band. I have a wide range of music taste from country to classical, jazz to rock and most things in between. In college I sang with the Men's Glee Club. No...not talking to myself....singing along with the radio!! . I started writing poetry in junior high and had a few of my poems published. It seems I've been working on the that great first novel for several years now...hopefully it will be done soon!!! Song writing has been a blessed outlet for me. I never know when the next idea for lryics will hit...driving down the road with no paper or pen to write on... (keep them handy in the car now). Great lryics are only as good as the singer that sings them...here I step back...I know my limitations.To me the lyrics and music have to be put together to tell the story of the song... The right storyteller (singer) only makes it better. If I had a desire it would be to hear one of my songs on the radio and have the person sitting next to me say, "wow...is that a great song!"
