| When you've reached a point where you're tired of redundancy you know it's Ben One. A Chicago born emcee Ben One has been raised listening to all types of music but found his self drawn to hip-hop. Never thinking of becoming an emcee he loved the culture, the music, and the art form and has been a fan ever since. Disappointed by the mainstream decline of hip-hop's diversity brought him even closer to the art, and after years of listening and wanting more from it, he decided to add his own flavor to the pot. With descriptive rhymes laced with details and personification, he's brought a new and refreshing outlook on the industry and its relationship to the music and the people who feed it. A clever and intelligent approach to the microphone with a conversationalists attitude of capturing ears with imagery and clarity has made him a staple in the new era of hip-hop's next generation. The hip-hop world will remember the day they realized it's been one for the industry and eardrums when they witness the genius that is Ben One.
