| I Mind Controlled, nascono tra Chieti e Pescara, da un’ idea del chitarrista Massimo Boffa ed il batterista Luca Nicolucci nei primi mesi del 2006, dopo l’effettivo scioglimento del loro gruppo thrash metal, gli Halley! I due si propongono, da subito, l’obiettivo di realizzare un album e nel contempo cercare di reclutare un bassista, un secondo chitarrista ed un cantante! Ai due si aggiunge quasi subito al basso Stefano Tatasciore , anche lui fermo definitivamente con il suo gruppo, gli Adrenalin! Inizia pian piano l’evoluzione stilistica del gruppo che cerca di staccarsi ben presto da sonorità legate a retaggi di precedenti esperienze, sfruttando le influenze dei singoli elementi sotto una forma più varia e il più possibile amalgamata, alla ricerca di un qualcosa di fresco in un panorama assai saturo ed estremamente variegato!!!!!! Realizzate le prime bozze dei brani si aggiunge in primavera il chitarrista dei Draugr Riccardo Gramenzi! Nei primi giorni del 2007 si aggiunge finalmente alla voce Simone Evangelista! Nel mese di maggio Riccardo abbandona il gruppo e viene sostituito dallo stesso Simone Evangelista alla chitarra!
In questo momento stanno registrando un EP di 4 pezzi presso i Comet Broadcasting Studio di Torrevecchia Teatina (CH). |
