Raf Van Brusselen aka RafdBXL is born in '78. He's collecting music all the way. Raf played in a couple of grunge bands the bass gitar and started with his own music experiments. When he was sixteen he noticed you could create a lot off dirty sounds with electrtonic tools and he got interested in electronic music. He started to collect and got himself two technics and a mixer. He loved the sound of Brighton, experimental and intelligent techno music and started to create his own patterns. As a dj. he earned his residentie at the partyconcept Meltpac, played for organisations like Technoir, Total techno, BOA... and had the chance to play the same night with artists like: Neil Landstrumm, Tobias Schmidt, Dave Tarrida, Jason Leach, Joris Voorn, Redhead, Trish Van den Eynde, Quever & Versis, 2000 and one, Cristian Vogel, Mascon, Adam X, Sugar experiment station, Paul Chambers, Coupé, Valyom... At the moment he has his own partyconcept with his friends Michael van den Brande and Mr. Paul Chambers, BOMB O MATIC. Bomb o matic was a big succes this summer (2007) Artists like Cristian Vogel, Neil landstrumm (live), Tobias Schmidt (live), Adam X (live), Mascon (live), Valyom, AntiHero... and the resident team like Raf himself, Paul Cambers, Coupé, Nocif and Chip_trauma played there. This is just the beginning...Bomb o matic will go on with more energy than ever, and Raf is invited to play the 12th of December in Tresor club Berlin! Olé ; ) |
