Sounds Like: Here are some live videos The primary priority of ATB is to write and perform as creative and diverse music as possible while keeping a white knuckle grip on the roots of the metal, jazz, and blues genres. Some of the compliations are a simplistic, picturesque, and idealistic direction of our music. Other compilations are the exact opposite, making it clear that we follow no road signs in the endless creativity that is the idea behind Alas the Bane. If one would rather read about our sound instead of listening to the trakcs provided, an accurate-as-possible answer to their indolent inquiry would be that Clutch, Mastodon, and Tool had a threesome. While these three identities are technically bands and have no designated sex, they in turn would be labeled as asexual, and the procreated offspring somehow aquired from the quixotic fiasco would have no paternal relation to any of the three, yet would carry the traits of all parties there of. Therefore it would become known as Alas the Bane.
