Gli Orange Beach nascono nel 2005, inizialmente come jam band. Paolo Broccoli (chitarra), Agostino Pagliaro (basso),Maurizio Conte (batteria), hanno militato in molte band della provincia di Caserta, spaziando dal post punk, all’hard rock fino, dal blues al funk. Hanno alle spalle una lunga attività live e,dopo varie esperienze, hanno deciso di dare origine ad una band in cui far confluire tutte le proprie influenze. Così, da quello che doveva essere solo un divertimento occasionale, nascono gli Orange Beach, che hanno all’attivo 2 demo. Il sound della band è il risultato della convivenza dell’amore per l’improvvisazione, il post punk, la psichedelia, il rock e le colonne sonore. Ogni brano, infatti, è concepito come una colonna sonora : dalle scene di un film immaginario alle musiche per il Tempio di Théléme, ogni canzone assume in se una carica immaginifica che viene esplicitata dal titolo. Tutti i brani,infatti, sono strumentali ed il titolo è lo strumento per accedere all’immaginario della band. Il tutto senza prendersi troppo sul serio: l’universo-mondo è fin troppo pieno di band che devono salvare il rock ’n roll!

The Orange Beach was born in 2005, initially as a kind of jam band. Paolo Broccoli (guitar), Agostino Pagliaro (bass), Maurizio Conte (drums), played in several bands in Campania , spacing from the post punk to the hard rock, from the blues to the funk. They get on their shoulders a long live activity and also several studio experiences, so the guys founded a band in which they combined many different infuences. Therefore, after two or three occasional afternoons of great fun and music, the project Orange Beach took form and in a year they broke out with two demos. The sound of the band is the result of the mixture of a great love for the improvisation , the post punk music, the psychedelic sounds, the good rock’n roll and the soundtracks. Every song is conceived as a soundtrack: from the scenes of an imaginary movie to the music for the Théléme Temple, the tracks are set to act an imaginative curse specified by the title. All the songs, in fact, are instrumental and the title is the way to approach the imaginary world of the band. Everything is done without taking itself too seriously: the universe-world is absolutely full of bands that they expect to save rock ‘n roll !
