| Sometimes dubbed progressive, sometimes called metal, sometimes referred to as a wallpaper-shredding noise, since its formation in 1969 King Crimson has consistently produced genre-blurring music in all of its various incarnations. With 13 studio albums in the can and numerous live releases, King Crimson remains just as challenging and as uncompromising as ever.
