| The Northwest Harmonica Championship began in the year 2005. It started as part of Springfield's own Filbert Festival. Unfortunately, the festival will not be happening this year. Currently, MEMA (the Musician's Emergency Medical Association) is taking charge, and will hopefully host the festival during the summer of 2007. Currently, we are looking for help. With the cancellation of the Filbert Festival, we can use any kind of assistance. If you would like to help out in anyway, please drop us line.
