BEYOND THE STORM was formed in December 2006, after the breakup of FACE THE LIGHT. The old project was based on a mix of hard and unexpected dissonances with reflectives and introspectives melodic riffs. In the new project the instrumental part of the band decided to use a different kind of sound aiming to bring to life a new blend of metal, prog and mathcore genere, calling it PROG-HARDCORE. With a more technic and complex connotation of its songs the band handle a problematic period searching for a singer, than Braciasco (Nevercross) joined them as vocalist for a short time in which they found the stylistic and compositive stability. After some months Braciasco decided to quit the band to work hard for Nevercross...here finally comes the last member: Mauro, a guy with a great melodic voice, a hard screamo and good rhythmical abilities. what is "PROG-HARDCORE"?...Ouroboric music, in which the conscious and the unconscious balance each other through libidinous process that drive the person to the inquiry of HIMSELF... ..."every void trys to fill itself"... ITALIANO I BEYOND THE STORM nascono nel dicembre 2006, in seguito allo scioglimento della band FACE THE LIGHT. Il progetto passato prevedeva l'unione di dissonanze secche e spiazzanti a parti melodiche riflessive e struggenti. Con lo scioglimento dei Face the light la parte strumentale della band ha deciso di formare un nuovo progetto con sonorità differenti e con l'idea di dare vita ad una nuova miscela di metal, progressive e mathcore, chiamandola PROG-HARDCORE. Con una connotazione più tecnica e dei pezzi abbastanza complessi i BEYOND THE STORM, in seguito ad alcuni problemi legati alla ricerca del cantante, passano un piccolo ma proficuo periodo con Braciasco (Nevercross)alla voce trovando la stabilità stilistica nella composizione. Dopo qualche mese Braciasco decide di lasciare per dedicarsi completamente ai Nevercross, congedadonsi con grande rispetto...Infine finalmente arriva l'ultimo componente, Mauro dotato di un ottima voce melodica, di un urlo rabbioso e di buone capacità ritmiche. cos'è il "PROG-HARDCORE"?...Musica uroborica, dove l'inconscio e il conscio si compensano attraverso processi libidici che spingono la persona alla ricerca del SE'... ..."ogni vuoto tenta di colmarsi"...
