Now playing: MOP CortexMOP Cortex (formerly Sickbrain, Brain, Hotchpotch, Vinx, MopCo.), born in Rossano (Cosenza, Calabria, Italy) in 1977, he resides in Bologna (Emilia-Romagna, Italy) since 1996. He has played and composed with some obscure bands, like: Amphetamine Reptile, K.A.P. (Knock About Production), Desert Flowers, KMMN! (Kiss My Motorbike, Now!), KinderTotenLieder, Fase ß del progetto B... He has a degree in Performing Arts and Multimedia Production (DAMS). In a not-well specified moment of his life he starts composing electronic music. Since 2005 he publishes his tracks inconstantly on his self-made website (http://mopcortex.does.it) and on the P2P net. In 2006 he studied in Milan to be a Sound Designer. (will continue) Flender 1.7 è un ensemble basato sul motore di Reaktor, creato da Giglio Luigi (Connectionunstable) con la partecipazione di Vincenzo Scorza (MOP Cortex). È un sintetizzatore virtuale che sfrutta la sintesi additiva. Comprende moduli di sequencing per i parametri volume, pitch e cutoff, fino a 16 battute. I due oscillatori hanno fase regolabile e possibilità di ritardo tra loro, possono essere indirizzati ad un LFO (sine, pulse o saw), quest'ultimo può essere libero da sincronizzazione o sincronizzato (misura intera, dimezzata o raddoppiata). Nella catena di sintesi è presente un modulo Resonator (regolabile gradualmente tramite un x-fader e con possibilità di essere pilotato da un LFO), un modulo Filter Cutoff ed un modulo Saturator.
