About Me |

Founded in the fall of 2004 and located out of Rochester NY, Serenity Falls began with the idea of creating heavy, atmospheric music with a progressive foundation. Utilizing emotional lyrics, powerful vocals, odd time signatures, technical guitar playing and a dynamic rhythm section, the band has formed a signature sound through the songwriting team of JD and Lisa. Serenity Falls has been compared to such bands as Tool, Lacuna Coil, Porcupine Tree, Rush, and Coheed and Cambria to name a few, all the while maintaining a signature stamp and unique identity among other progressive rock acts. Over the past four three years the band has been constantly evolving, as a musical unit and as a live act. Having played throughout much of Upstate NY and with plans to branch out very soon, the band is currently songwriting and rehearsing once again. Currently in the studio to record their second EP, the band is now evolving in a new direction of heavier and more complex music, all the while maintaining their sense of melody. The CD is due out in the Summer of 2008! Serenity Falls T-shirts are now here!! Avaliable in S, M and L. More sizes coming soon!! Our Demo CD's are also avaliable!
