OUT NOW AVAILABLE NOW ATwww.UKrecordShop.com While 2006’s must have mix-tape ‘simply the best’ established scorcher as a solo artist, it was in fact 2005’s ‘private caller’ we were first introduced to the bright star. 2006 saw a constant onslaught of radio shows, live performances, television appearances, dvd appearances, magazine articles, countless collaborations and a growing talent for production. The huge buzz generated was well deserved as summer 06 saw the release of the monumental ‘Simply The Best’. Scorchers ability to deliver hard hitting lyrics with witty word play was showcased with tracks such as the thought provoking ‘Chance us’, the emotional ‘My diary’ and the underground anthem ‘Do me a favour’. The cd takes you on an intense journey into the life and times of scorcher (present/past) and his thoughts and views (good and bad). His influence over the uk underground scene gained the attention of MTV, and resulted with his involvement in their black history month campaign. The artist gave recognition to the great black british sports personality’s of our country with ease. Although well known for his battling with scenes elite and his large involvement in Logan Samas war report , scorcher continues to diversify himself as an artist. Scorcher has also taken the same approach to his production with his ‘Indie-Rock and thunder’ styled music. With the approach of his second mix-tape (Leader Of The New School) all signs are set for him to breathe fire back into the uk scene once again. |
